Sponsorship Opportunities

We will not be soliciting sponsorships from businesses for this year’s Pedal it Purple.   In years past, this event has been focused on raising awareness for recovery and has benefitted from sponsorships as a way to support the costs of keeping the event free for everyone.

This year, our community is working together to face a different kind of recovery, following the Main Street Fire, which displaced 11 residents from their homes and destroyed a historic property in the center of Lincoln.

We have therefore decided to hold this event as a community bonding time and donations received will be directed to support the displaced residents.

We still wish to raise awareness for recovery because we feel it is important, and we will have representatives from recovery organizations present at the event.

We also feel strongly about “bridging” the gap of resources to those who are need. We are working closely with the Loon Mountain Area Community Fund and the Linwood Community Resource Center, which is the central resource addressing the relief efforts following the fire.  If you would like to contribute, you can make a donation directly on their website.
