Sponsorship is Different this Year

We will not be soliciting large cash sponsorships from businesses for this year’s Pedal it Purple.   Following the Main Street Fire, which displaced 11 residents from their homes and destroyed a historic property in the center of Lincoln, we know that many of you have already stepped up to support the relief efforts, and we know we can count on your support to meet the urgent needs of our community.

We have therefore decided to hold this year’s Pedal it Purple event as a community fundraiser and donations received will be directed to support the displaced residents*. We would like to invite all our local restaurants, businesses, and community members to come together and make this the biggest COMMUNITY FUNDRAISER event EVER.

*Donations made through Pedal it Purple this year will be deposited into the Lincoln Woodstock Community Resource Center account. 

What we Need

We are looking for material donations such as food, drinks, paper plates, plastic utensils, disposable cups, raffle items, gift items, gift baskets, and silent auction items.  Please contact Tracy if you can contribute any of these items!

Volunteers are also needed both to prepare for the event and especially on the June 2nd, the day of the event.  If you can give your time (helping with setup or breakdown or during the event).

We still wish to raise awareness for recovery because we feel it is important, and we will have representatives from recovery organizations present at the event.
